PRIVATE TUTORING IN PERSON OR ONLINE!
In addition to providing ASL Fluency examinations for institutions and individuals, Janna M. Sweenie and David W. Boles also provide intensive, private, American Sign Language tutoring in person in the New York City/Tri-State area -- or the world over via the Internet over using iChat or Skype in the privacy and comfort of your own home.
Our current private tutoring students are beginners who want to learn right from the start; intermediates who desire extra practice and advanced ASL students seeking to continue their skills as professional interpreters. We live on the East Coast of the United States, so we are generally awake and able to tutoring you in the early mornings and evenings during the week -- or most any time over the weekend as time and scheduling allows.

Due to the raging popularity of our in-person and online tutoring program, our prices have changed. In person tutoring is now $100.00 USD an hour and 30 minutes of private video tutoring is $50.00 USD. Once we confirm your tutoring session(s) purchase, we will contact you to set the date and time and -- if necessary -- the place. You may purchase multiple tutoring sessions to reserve an ongoing schedule that best fits your time and needs.PURCHASE ONE HOUR OF IN-PERSON TUTORING: We usually meet you in the New York University and Greenwich Village area -- we can also come to your home if you pay transportation and travel time; contact us for the rate for private study in your home. PURCHASE 30 MINUTES OF PRIVATE ONLINE TUTORING: We only teach one person at a time for this price point. If you want a group rate for tutoring over the internet, please contact us. NOTICE: We are unable to offer you a list of competing ASL programs, or other courses of study, and NYU does not allow non-matriculated students to take Janna's ASL courses.
